Installation: «Puertas al mar» – A work of Santiago Vélez

On Sunday 20.8.17, the Rheinfelder artists Bettina Costa and Harry Hermes, installed together with Toni Scherrer «Puertas al mar» in the Rhine.
The work of the Colombian artist Santiago Vélez (santiagovelez.net), after being exhibited during the Art Baser Week in the Volta 13 (Art fair at the Markthalle), «stranded» in Rheinfelden.
«Puertas al mar» wants to show the importance of water under different contexts. This was the reason why it was installed on the Rhine for 2 hours exactly at the border between Switzerland an Germany.
